Do you have big plans for 2019?
Hi there! We hope you have continued to have a great holiday season! We've had a lot of fun over here, with the success of our Small Business Saturday and then the Christmas party on the 7th. We are currently planning our upcoming year, and we are pretty sure there's going to be some great stuff going on for us (and you!) in 2019! In these upcoming weeks, interspersed with Christmas and the new year holidays, I'm working on our next few showcases. We have decided that for the first two months of the year, we are going to focus on imagery that really catches attention in the simplest of ways--starkness of design, and a massive scale. We hope you make it in to see these displays! I am so excited about them. These are trends in art that are booming right now, but quite apart from that, they tend to evoke a cleanliness of line and a timelessness that will treat your space well for decades to come. We also chatted a little about the possibility of showcase and movie night featuring the historical, international artist JMW Turner. It's a brainstorm that I think could be really cool for the gallery, and we would love to know what you think! Maybe this summer? We will keep you posted! In the meantime, there are still a few shopping days left before Christmas, and we have had a lot of last-minute shoppers leave our gallery very happy with their new purchases, wrapped and ready to go. A LOT of my favorite glass pieces are walking off the shelves, so if you've been eyeing something, I'd say now is the time to make it happen, whether it is a gift for someone else or yourself! We are going to be open fewer days the weeks of Christmas and the New Year, so we will keep you posted on that to the best of our ability. One of the charms and challenges of being a genuine small business is that we are very family-oriented, as well as understanding of family limitations regarding working hours during the holidays. We are doing our best to keep our holiday hours updated, both on the door of our business and on our Facebook page. If you're not sure and want to stop in, of course feel free to call or leave us a Facebook message, and we will get back to you as soon as possible!
Looking forward to a great 2019 with you,
Cascade Art Gallery
